Our experience is based on providing traffic control, parking plans, and operations management for hundreds of major events. We work with nearby businesses, schools, and churches to help improve traffic flow for daily traffic or special events. Our services will provide an overall traffic safety plan which will not only account for getting guests safely to your event, but also considers parking and pedestrian flow issues for an overall quality guest arrival, and departure, experience.
Special events can create their own unique traffic issues. Whether your event is a traffic volume concern, or you are requiring street closures and uniformed traffic control, we can make that happen. We can create complete traffic control plans including necessary signage, traffic control devices, and manpower. Wayne Granger served in municipal law enforcement for 18 years, many of those years working in special assignments including Traffic, Patrol, Special Events, and SWAT Supervision and Command. While working in law enforcement, Wayne was entrusted with planning public safety aspects of major community events including the largest Memorial Day Parade in Colorado, multiple citywide July 4th fireworks displays, and numerous community-policing events requiring logistical planning and operations. In addition to these pre-planned events, Wayne excelled in managing large-scale emergency situations including high-risk SWAT operations and major accident and crime scenes. Wayne also has training and experience in emergency management techniques and practices.
Wayne’s expertise is in traffic control, project management, and public safety staffing. From developing police and traffic staffing plans for small charity events, to professional sports events, concerts, and music festivals, Wayne’s expertise and attention to detail are unmatched. Wayne’s traffic planning expertise has also been used to assist schools with improving their traffic and pedestrian safety. Wayne’s Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership- Strategic Innovation & Change and Project Management provides a level of professionalism and oversight not seen in many event companies. In addition, Wayne has Executive experience including Risk Management, Finance, Human Resources, Operations, Marketing, and Leadership serving as Executive Director for a 96-employee charter school.
Charlie Chicko has been in the sports, entertainment, and facility management industry for over 18 years. He opened Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, TX (now Toyota Stadium) in 2005 as an Event Manager. In 2006, Charlie came to Colorado and opened Dick’s Sporting Goods Park (DSGP) in Commerce City, CO as the Director of Venue Operations. Both Stadiums are over 18,000 seat soccer-specific stadiums which also host to concerts, private and special events, and other sporting events. Charlie also helped develop and implement a nationally-recognized weather safety plan for DSGP and its 24-field complex. Charlie also managed the venue operations for the historic Paramount Theatre in downtown Denver that hosts concerts, film festivals, fundraising events, special events, and plays. Charlie’s expertise is in the guest-experience and operational aspect of events gained by managing all the day to day, budgetary, and event operations for these facilities.
While in these facilities, Charlie has managed over 400 events including professional, international, and high school soccer matches, concerts, plays, festivals, and fundraising events. Charlie’s expertise includes Front of House and Back of House operations, event and facility budgeting, staffing, and building maintenance. Some of his favorite events to manage were the Mile High Music Festival, PHISH, Kenny Chesney, Warren Miller, Trace Adkins, Kingston Trio, Heart, John Prine, Lyle Lovett, and his personal favorite, STEP UP FOR CANCER.
Charlie teaches Facility Operations for the Sport, Entertainment, and Event Management Program at Johnson and Wales University, the Denver Campus.
